During this event of Bloemendagen -
literally meaning "days of flower" - the whole village of Limmen turns into an
open air display of artworks, which all houses in Limmen making an artwork from
the colourful petals of Hyacinth
flowers. I guess they do this to participate
and win an award of the best artwork.
The following are some of the indicative
pictures of our visit to Limmen (the Netherlands) on the event of
Bloemendagen
Limmen in May 2006.

us around - all the way from Amsterdam to Limmen
and then on to Volandam and Marken!
