During this event of Bloemendagen -
literally meaning "days of flower" - the whole village of Limmen turns
into an
open air display of artworks, which all houses in Limmen making an artwork from
the colourful petals
of Hyacinth flowers. I guess they do this to participate
and win an award of the best artwork.
